Concert?

Netsuite road trip coming soon! I’m sure we’ll have a few pics.
I went to Fort Knox for a couple weeks and missed some movies, so when I got back I entered movie-going mode. So far I’ve seen Star Trek, Angels and Demons, and Terminator: Salvation. All were pretty good, Star Trek was probably the best. Terminator isn’t getting very good reviews but I thought it was decent. Don’t expect any Academy Award performances but hey, it’s Terminator.
Bought a Dell Vostro A90 because they had some super deals on them - it’s a pretty cool little system. It’s not the fastest thing ever, but it works for most regular tasks. It’s also possible to swap out the SSD for a faster one or the wifi card for one that supports packet injection (whatever that is).
Just found out that the Army finally realized I’ve been jumping out of airplanes and they started paying me for it, including what they owe me for the past 5 months. Money is goooood.
Still going

Work is actually fairly tolerable now, though who knows how long that will last. On the bright side, I do get to do some fun stuff.
A couple weeks ago I got to jump out of a helicopter. That was much more fun than a plane - you just sit on the floor with your feet hanging off the edge and enjoy the ride as you fly up to the right altitude. When the jumpmaster says go you just push off of the edge. You’re also not traveling very fast, so there’s no huge opening shock like you get out of an airplane at 130+ knots.
Also on the bright side, I almost have my car paid off and I bought it in December. Niiiice.
More Work?

My job isn’t so bad now, I actually get to work in the building I’m supposed to be in and use an actual computer, so that’s nice.
I got to go visit my sister in Atlanta last weekend too, that was a lot of fun. If you’re in Atlanta and you want good food, look no further than Canton Cooks, Chequers, Atlantic Seafood Company, or Happy Sumo (plus some others whose names I forget). Coldstone Creamery is good for dessert but I have to include the obligatory Ben and Jerry’s plug since they’re from Vermont and everything from Vermont is awesome
Army Life

For some reason I thought it’d be a good idea to join the Army. For some other reason, I thought I’d actually get to do what they spent 22 weeks training me to do.
Joke’s on me! Hah… Now I do random office work (shred papers, move furniture, etc.) and try and find maps that people need. Helpful hint: I know nothing about maps, nor how to get them. Tons of fun. I’d rather do the random office work than that.
Oh well, I signed up for 3 years so I’m counting down the days until my ETS. As of today I have 1030 days left. It feels a little better to count the weeks - after this one I’ll have 146 left to go. No problem.
Hello, world.

Thought I’d try WordPress rather than writing my own stuff. I guess this is easier
